Hi, my name is Tina and my company provides writing and proofreading services. Today, I’m going to show you how to write a business letter. And in this clip I’m going to show you how to do the closing of that letter. When closing your business letter you want to end it on a professional note. A couple of example that you might use would include Sincerely or Best Regards. When it comes to spacing you want to leave at least three or four lines between the body of your business letter and your salutation. And likewise, you want to leave another three or four lines between your salutation and your printed name. That’s to make sure that you have room for your signature depending on how large your signature might be or how small, you want to space that accordingly. If you’re emailing this letter, you can reduce the amount of spaces between your salutation and your printed name. However, if you’re pondering to print this letter and send it off through a traditional means, you want to make sure to leave plenty of space so that you can sign your name so that your signature and the printed name are both legible. But don’t send that letter of yet. In this last clip I’m going to give you a few final tips on how to wrap up this business letter.
