Winter Fashion Tips: How to Look Good While Staying Warm Whether you’re hitting the slopes, lounging in the lodge or going out for the evening, we’re going to show you how to layer up this winter in style. With layers upon layers of cozy fabric, dressing chic in cooler months can be tough. But just because temperatures are dropping, it doesn’t mean you're fashion has too. Chic winter worthy ensembles were seen at Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier and Jill Stewart. For the girl who isn’t afraid to show off her skills on the slopes and wants to look great doing so, make sure your outfit is equal parts sporty and feminine. A great pattern chunkiness sweater is warm and practical. A distraught version from H&M. and a black jacket from Derek Lam keeps you looking polished. We put Cassidy in a pair of furry black heavy duty boots like this from Tory Birch which odd looked up and are great to walk to in front of -- Keep warm with the right accessories. A dark gray cable net star, a black gray Russian hunter’s cap and a ladylike leather gloves, swap out your ski suit and you’re ready to hit the slopes. A crocky mix of ethnic prints, blanket tapes and fur is the key to achieving this season’s nomadic-inspired look. If you're going for cabin chic, a combo cardigan of faux fur mitt like this one from Rebecca Taylor is a great piece to layer underneath a poncho. Cassidy is wearing a taupe Aztec print poncho by Lindsey Thornburg. The rugged print offers a fun juxtaposition to fancy fur. A basic pair of mid washed skinny jeans helps breakup the neutrals and add some vibrant color. Last but not least, warm shearling knee high wedges by Tory Birch roundsyou’re your sophisticated winter look. Finding an outfit that is great for a night out but it still functional in snowier climates can be a challenge. The sweater dress is the perfect solution. Cassidy is wearing a leopard print sweater dress by Top Shop. The print gives life to the outfit. Here we layered an oversized gray cape on top of the sweater dress which allows a bit of the leopard pattern to show. So if you haven’t heard of a snowed, this is going to be your new best friend for winter. When the temperature drops, you can wear it around your head like this or when you go inside, you can pull it around your neck and have a really chic neck warmer. Thick texture leggings and a pair of two-tone black and brown boots like this by Derek Lam, tie back in the leopard and refine this winter night ensemble. We hope these layers looks have inspired you to get cozy and creative no matter where you're going. I'm Allison, thanks for watching fabstyle 2.
