Male: Bill, an answer to your question, Canker sores do tend to run in families, now whether there is a genetic component to that or whether it’s related to environmental factors that all members of the family are expose to still open to some debate, the good news is, that you’re not alone, Canker sores are found very commonly in the population mainly from young people to young adults so adolescence are one of the individual or group of individuals who has Canker sores. The important thing is to make sure that the diagnosis is accurate, that these are indeed Canker sores or what we call aphthous ulcers because there are some other diseases and conditions that can mimic aphthous ulcers.
