This health videos explains what ADHD is and how some children without the complete disorder have symptoms of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
Dr. Mona Khanna: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or ADHD is the mental disorder often diagnosed in children. The disorder’s main characteristics include inattentiveness, hyperactivity, impulsiveness or combination of these qualities. ADHD isn’t easy to diagnose. Some children without the complete disorder have some of these symptoms. However, if certain symptoms are present for least six months and if the symptoms make it difficult for a child to function at school, at home or in social situations, then consider ADHD.
