Speaker: Can I avoid gaining weight by drinking my calories? Gwendolyn Francavillo: Lot of times people think that drinking is low calorie. That's not always true, a lot at the smoothy these days that are popular that people think are the health drinks are really high calories, they have a lot of sugar, they have a lot added calories that may be even as much as say McDonalds meal and also there is popular coffee drinks with all the added flavoring and wet cream and things really do have a lot of calories as well. The smoothies in my ration are healthy, the coffee drinks you might want to drink them without the added flavors or sugar or wet cream and things like that. Also energy drinks are very popular and they are also very dangerous because of the high added caffeine and sugar that can increase you heart rate and then later in a few hours you might have crash, which will be worse then where you are in the first place put the sugar in the caffeine.
