This tower is the world’s third tallest freestanding structure and dominates Toronto’s downtown. It stands at an astounding 1,815 feet tall, with two visitor areas. The first observation area is at 1,122 feet and has a thick glass floor. This section also includes a restaurant, which slowly rotates through 360 degrees. There is another, even higher observation area at 1465 feet which is the highest public area. Although open for visitors, the main purpose of the CN Tower is observation and communication.
