Learn About Disneyland Suites If you really want to splurge on your next Disneyland vacation, consider booking one of their penthouse suites. Let’s take a peek inside. Located inside the Disneyland hotel, the Mickey Mouse Disney suite offers 1600 square feet of luxury. Whimsical touches abound from the rare Disney sketches in the children’s room to the colorful tiles in the children’s bath. The master bedroom is spacious and chic with its own private steam shower and Jacuzzi tub. Another great Disney family suite is the Pirates of the Caribbean penthouse. I love its old world style from the cozy living room, with its dark floor and furnishings to the elegant dining room in the wet bar. Down the hall, you’ll find the luxurious master’s suite and children’s room which has two twin beds. The bath continues the Spanish colonial style. This is the Disneyland dream suite, an apartment originally built for Walt himself. Come on in and I’ll show you around. Located above the Pirates of the Caribbean, this 2200 square-foot luxury apartment was designed as a place for the Disney’s to entertain friends at the park. It was completed in January 2008 through the Walt’s’ dream. The master’s suite is modeled after adventure land and true Victorian exotic style with florals, vines and an electro luminescent painting above the bed. In the master bath, you’ll find a gorgeous stained glass replica of Louie comfort Tiffany’s young woman at a fountain. Inside the parlor, the fireplace sparks mimic the fireworks over Sleeping Beauty castle. While on the mantle, you’ll find a bird cage that provided inspiration for Disney’s ticky room attraction. Other highlights include a Maxwell table lamp, paintings of the two castles that inspired Disney’s logo and a magical clock that puts on musical shows by the hour. The informal sitting room with its two twin beds was modeled after frontier land and the old west style that Walt truly loved.
