Josh: My name is Josh, I am from Kansas City, I am 27 years old and I just want to know if there any complications vasectomy reversal? Randall Meacham: Thanks Josh, that's a great question. When you are considering vasectomy reversal, it's important to know that is a very safe and actually it's a very effective procedure. It's typically done as an outpatient procedure, so you have been leaving and going home the same day after the operation itself. There is a potential risk of bleeding as with any operative procedure. There is a potential risk of infection again as is the case with any operation, but on the whole, it's a very safe procedure. The other good news is it's also quite effective. Over half the time vasectomy reversal should work, if it's done by a surgeon who is experienced in that procedure.
