Dr. Luis Navarro: Yes, as we age, the skin becomes thinner and there is the water content of the tissues and the skin diminishes. The veins in the dorsum of the hand become much more visible, and they are very easily treated with sclerotherapy. They respond very well. In a couple of sessions, we inject the veins and the dorsum of the hand will return back to normal with no visible veins.
