The Golden State is more than just a sun and surf. I am Rebecca Brayton and welcome to WAtchMojo.com. Today we’ll be talking about the climate of California. Temperatures depend on location within the country as the Pacific Ocean is the key endpoints on weather. In fact, temperature variations between coastal and interior regions in winter are roughly seven degrees Fahrenheit and in summer, are approximately 25 degrees Fahrenheit with the inland areas having the warmer weather. Northern California tends to have more precipitation than in the south of the state. The Redwood Forest often received over 100 inches of rain per year. The Sierra Nevada, Cascade Wrench, and the Trinity Outs Mountain Ranges all receive snowfall in the winter. In fact, California is home to ski resorts such as Lake Tahoe and Manchester. In spring or fall, hard and high winds blow towards southern California. California’s beautiful climate lends itself to beach bombs and ski bunnies alike and is therefore an ideal travel location for anyone.
