The Serbian, a winner of two ATP World Tour titles, defeated Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 in two hours and three minutes on Saturday (July 14). Tipsarevic had beaten Steve Darcis and Bjorn Phau on the way to the semi-final and said afterwards: "They are playing similar, both right handers, playing flat and suddenly I am playing against Thomaz who is completely different player, a lefty, playing really far from the baseline with heavy spin so I needed to adjust my game but, as I said, I had the right attitude all throughout the match and that's the main reason why I'm through. Tipsarevic will face second seed Juan Monaco in the final after the Argentinian defeated Spain's Guillermo Garcia 6-3 3-6 7-5 in 2 hours 40 minutes.
