The City Department Of Education is now making the so-called morning-after pill available to young girls as part of a pilot program operating in 13 schools to somewhat of a mixed reaction. Girls as young as 14 will be able to get Plan B -- without parental notification, says DOE officials. The department has already sent notes to parents letting them know about the new program, and how to have their daughters opt out of the program, adding, so far, only 1-2% of parents have chose to do so.
