The Latest Swimwear for Moms to Be Rhiannon Ally: Filled with a bun in your oven make you feel like you can’t rock a swimsuit this summer, why not bring your bump to the beach? Anne heads to a maternity boutique to check out the latest swimwear for moms-to-be. Anne Ebeling: Hey, moms to be! It's the time of you again. The pools are open and the beaches are beckoning. So, suit up that baby bump and get out there. To help you do that, I'm here at Destination Maternity to check out all the latest styles in maternity swimwear and here to help us is fashion expert Joanne Amend. Hi Joanne! Joanne Amend: Hi Anne! Anne Ebeling: So Joanne, what are your most popular styles in maternity swimwear here? Joanne Amend: By far, our most popular style is the tankini. It flatters most figures and we have a lot of different options with side ruching and adjustable tops and bottoms. Our swimsuits come as a set and we also have separates for swim as well. Anne Ebeling: That sounds perfect and you have some styles to show us today. Joanne Amend: We sure do. Anne Ebeling: All right, let’s check them out. Joanne Amend: Navy and white has been a total fashion trend this season and here we have a great navy and white polka dot tankini. This is from our Pea in the Pod collection area. The little silver ring detail and the beads are just a little bit of embellishment on the suit. It makes it a little more special. And we’ve topped it with just a very simple washed linen hoody cardigan. Lara is wearing a Lilly Pulitzer tankini from our Pea in the Pod collection area. It's pink and green. It has perfect summer colors in it, just terrific for a pool party or the beach. This bathing suit has seaming under the bust line which does give a little bit of extra support and the halter top is a good style because you can tie it tighter if you feel like you need more support. We have to show a basic black bathing suit. The black is always the most slimming and it's a very flattering style. This one has a ruching detail in the front with a little bow tie and it's also a ruched on the sides which gives a lot of stretch and it lets the bathing suit grow with you throughout your pregnancy. This one has the X- back, the crisscross which is also giving extra support. This is a terrific blue and white combination halter tankini. The halter style really gives a lot of support. This one has a detail in the front, the white ring which just adds a little pop to the bathing suit. It's also side ruched and gathered which gives you a lot of room to grow into it. This is a great style. It's really very flattering. Pink Circles for Motherhood Maternity. This bathing suit is $24.99. It is also a tankini but it doesn’t have the ruching, it's more of a skirted style which is very flattering for many different shapes. And here is our little white cotton Terry Cover-up that goes over every bathing suit but it looks really cute with the pink and white circles. It has a little ruffle at the bottom that just makes it more contemporary and updated. This is for motherhood maternity. This is another tankini for motherhood maternity. This one is priced at $34.98 and we’ve actually put our belly bump on Lara with this bathing suit just to show how much it does stretch to show how she’ll look at nine months. Anne Ebeling: So moms-to-be, don’t be afraid to put on that suit and get out on the beach. And Joanne, where can people get these styles? Joanne Amend: Well, they can visit us here at the store or online at www.destinationmaternity.com. Anne Ebeling: All right, we’ll have some fun on the sun.
