Lauren Lake: Okay it’s time to put our hardware on the cabinets and get our glass fronts in. Jeff Devlin: Alright, all the holes are already drilled and finish. Lauren Lake: Alright. Angela Clarke: One down. Jeff Devlin: Can I? Can I the lights? Lauren Lake: I’m ready, are you ready? Angela Clarke: I’m ready. Lauren Lake: I want to see it. Jeff Devlin: Turn on your cabinet light. Lauren Lake: Okay. Jeff Devlin: And then. Angela Clarke: That’s beautiful. Lauren Lake: That’s fabulous, well alright I think the only thing we have left is finishing the edges. Angela Clarke: And let’s do it. Lauren Lake: Alright. This kitchen use to be one down and incomplete now it’s open loti and city sleek. It’s fantastic. Host: At kitchen that was dinged and dirty has become open, clean and sophisticated. Stand within our budget of 20 to $30,000 we knock down the wall and created a city loaf field with the grand total of $26,000. And that includes cherry wood cabinets, concrete countertops, brand new stainless steel appliances, a black glass tile backsplash and radiant heat flooring and labor of course. Angela Clark: The overall design of this kitchen is amazing, we wanted to open up the space, bring in sleek textures and you have both contrasting colors. Female: I love this kitchen; this is more than we can ever ask for and to dream about. Chris Lyles: Yeah, it went from hating it to loving them. I mean I love everything about this kitchen it just beautiful. Female: It feels so much larger in here now. Chris Lyles: It really does. Female: Now that wall is gone and I can even imagine having that now, that looks great that was a great idea. Chris Lyles: It was because now we could see from inside the kitchen straight through the first floor. Like kind of that give it a very clean, appealing room, it’s very modern. Female: And it’s concrete and I couldn’t imagine that you can do this with concrete and it’s great. And I loved the fact that they have move our sink over here because I hated the corner and now I want to see and look at the window at the same time. And now our backsplash is better because we don’t have the steel wood, the steel wood is gone it’s not all over the place. We have real backsplash and it’s beautiful. Chris Lyles: And some like artwork. Female: And I love the cabinets, the cabinets are so much better than we have before. Now we have so much more storage space and I love that we have this ambiance with our lighting in the cabinets that looks so nice. I think one of the major differences is that we have appliances that work, they’re updated, and they’re not a safety hazard. Chris Lyle: Right. Female: And we have a new stove with the handle. Chris Lyle: Look at that she open it not point to floor. Female: This is the high tech kitchen. Chris Lyles: Yeah, this is very high tech. Female: And now that the refrigerator is over here so that’s great. Chris Lyles: And the floor is wide open now, I like the tile with the size and with the color and the fact that I hope to store it. Female: Well this kitchen blows the other kitchen or the old kitchen of the wood. Chris Lyles: Before it was you know, this is the room we kind of shock away from within walking too but its no— Female: Now it’s okay. Chris Lyles: This is one of the best rooms in the house. Thank you so much Lauren and Jeff for you hardwork. Female: Yes, thanks for making our house a home. Chris Lyle: Thank you.
