Male I'm hanging with Sean from Harmonix Music Systems, we’re talking about the Beatles Rock Band. Sean, thanks so much for helping us, man. Sean Thanks for having me. Male We’re talking the vocal training mode. Sean Indeed! Male Not everybody’s born with the gifts that you and I born with certain. Sean Of course, I mean, too bad for them. Male I know, yeah! Sorry people. But we’re talking about the training mode. It’s obvious that it’s a big part of Beatles. Lead singer is their harmony. So, tell me about this mode. Sean So, the Beatles could come up with very complex harmonies which aren’t easy in the first place. In our game, we have three part harmonies, two part harmonies, sometimes occasionally solo. And for learning those parts, we have a vocal training mode where you can just sort of go in and pick the part you want to learn. And so the keyboard know to play along with that you can hear over the songs you can sing along to the keyboard not really kind of part you trying to sing. Male1 Kent Handford was likely was his idea that you came up with in the assertion of the game or as you were developing the game were like, “We should probably train people”. Sean I think, most of our said harmonics and musicians, so we know how difficult harmonies are from our own bands. So, I think, right from the beginning were like, “Yeah! We should try to put this one because otherwise, it’s going to sound awful all over America”. Male You know there’s certainly like bonuses that you can begin from nailing these harmonies, how that it score? How does it yell up and down in the game? Sean So, none of the parts are tied to specific microphone. As long as somebody is singing one of the parts, the score are adding up. But if everybody is nailing eight-part and you got all three parts in there, you going to get big scores. Male So, you guys are also nonsense in pretty big songs today, right? Sean Yeah! It’s a Twisting Shout, You Want To Know A Secret, Can’t Buy Me The Love, I Wanna Be Your Man, Eight Days A Week (a personal favorite of mine), Paper Back Rider, and Your Bird Can Sing, and Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band/with the little help for my friends. Male Cool men! Thanks so much for talking to this. We really appreciate—when can we buy this in stores? Sean This will be out 9-9-09, September 09. Male Nice! Let’s go check it out.
