Hi, I'm Melanie Raposo and welcome to Mommy’s Minute. Breaking the news to your parents that you're pregnant when you're a teenager is one of the hardest things about the teen pregnancy. You're parents maybe unsupportive and agree and most of all concerns since you're a child yourself. The best thing you do is listen to what they have to say and calmly explain to them what happen. If you're afraid to break the news to your parents in person you can always write them a letter instead and express to them that you really need their support. Thankfully, there are many resources available to teen mothers so don’t be afraid to ask for help whether it’s from your parents, your partner or a local organization.
