Audra Lowe: Our next guest is an internationally acclaimed psychic, medium and bestselling author who has a unique ability to connect people with their deceased loved ones, take a look. John Edward: Is there a father or an older male energy for you who has crossed? Brian John: Yeah, my dad. Male: Your dad’s here and your dad wants everybody to know that you're his hero because he’s shown me how you helped somebody or assisted them, okay? Now, are you Brian James or Brian John? Brian John: Brian John. John Edward: Brian John. Okay. Audra Lowe: John Edward is out with his first book in five years called, Infinite Quest and he says that he’s got the tools to help all of us develop our own psychic intuitions, right John? John Edward: Absolutely. Audra Lowe: Good to have you back. John Edward: I’m good to be. Audra Lowe: I’m glad you came back over here. Still trying to convince me that this is a possibility because we talked the last time and it’s no secret that I -- I’m a critic. I don't -- I’m skeptic. I don't believe it, but you're a nice guy and I like the fact you’ve explained this to a lot of people. John Edward: That’s good though. I think it’s -- and I talked about it in the book. I think it’s important to have a skeptical approach to anything that’s different or unique or that you're not familiar with because it’s a way of protecting yourself from being unsafe. But one of the things that I tell people is that, what I’m talking about is just energy and we know that energy exists and now, I’m talking about how do you perceive that energy and what is exactly -- what is it that you're perceiving, what can you do with it? Audra Lowe: Okay, so let’s break this down. Step one, step two, step three. For someone like me who just does not know, you meet someone. Let’s say, you and I meet for the first time. Is it the fact that you feel that some energy around me, whether it’s positive or negative, if the person asks you -- only if the person asks you, you will tell them what you're feeling. You just don't blurt it out, right? John Edward: Right, absolutely because that would be unethical. Not that I didn’t used to do that when I was --I was 15, I was working at a video store and people used to walk up to the counter and I’d just totally -- I was 15. Audra Lowe: Right. John Edward: I used to attack rhythm. They would come up to the counter and I would like look at them and be like, “See your grandmother--“ and people would look at me like -- Audra Lowe: Okay, how do you know that? John Edward: Like what the -- and then the owner of the store would yell at me and say, “Stop doing that Ouija thing, but again, I was 15. I was learning about my abilities, but I used that same 15 year old and that’s really who -- I really wrote this book. If I can go back and time and say, read this to myself, that’s who I wrote the book for. I wrote it with a very authoritarian type of strict, ethical responsibility, learning about this and here’s what you use your ability for. It’s to make empowered choices and just because you have this ability doesn’t mean that you should -- Audra Lowe: Abuse it. You can't abuse it. John Edward: Wow -- and try to wow people with it or whatever, but to really use it in your own everyday life. So what I would say to you if I was going to work with you like on developing your abilities, I would say, you have feelings and gut instincts. It’s just what you have. Now let’s take that feeling, that intuition, that state to the next level and how do you apply it to what you're feeling. So I’m going to give you an everyday example. Audra Lowe: All right, all right. John Edward: Somebody comes in, a producer comes in and they say to you, “You're going to have to do this interview and you're going to have ask these specific questions.” One of those questions just doesn’t sit right with you. You have to make that decision based upon that feeling that you have of whether you should or should not answer that question and what should or should not as a result of that. Audra Lowe: But how do you separate the intuition that you have just in normal daily life versus knowing that my grandfather is telling me don't buy that car, you know what I’m saying? John Edward: Ah! But it’s the same thing. Audra Lowe: How do you know the difference? John Edward: You don't. You have to learn how to recognize how the information and the energy comes through. Audra Lowe: With your book here, you're helping other people to kind of tap in to their own energy to be able to do this, right? John Edward: I am. There are three things in the book. I tell people -- people who are looking to go buy this book and against the publisher’s copy. They're probably saying this, do not go buy this book if you're looking to become a psychic. That’s what this book is about. This book is about developing your psychic abilities so that you can make better and intuitive choices, empowered choices in your everyday life that you could recognize signs and symbols of how your family is connected with you and if people are already doing readings, they should read it because it’s about ethics and responsibilities of what you should or should not do. Audra Lowe: Very, very interesting. All right, you’ve enlightened me and I appreciate it. Thank you very much for being here. Congratulations on the book too. John Edward: Thank you. Audra Lowe: And as we mentioned, John’s book is full of a lot of ways to learn how to use your own intuitions, psychic intuition and life. The book is called, Infinite Quest and it’s available now. So now it’s your turn. We want to hear from you guys on our question of the day who would you like to contact from the other side? Let us know, maybe a relative, maybe somebody famous. Anybody out there. Log on to BetterTV.com, click on the question of the day and don't forget to include your name, and also where you live. John, if we could do this with you, would you want to talk to anybody in particular? John Edward: Well, for me, personally -- I would like to speak outside of my family, I would love to have a dialogue with Albert Einstein. Audra Lowe: Oh, that would be interesting. If he starts talking to you, you call me and let me know, all right? Thank you so much, John. Good to have you here. John Edward: Thank you very much. Thank you.
