He was a little bit goofy. She seemed a little bit uptight. Despite their obvious differences, Courtney Cox and David Arquette were one of Hollywood’s most enviable pairs after 11 years of marriage. But what seemed so effortless on the surface came crumbling down earlier this week after Cox and Arquette announced they had split. An emotional Arquette opened up in a radio interview with Howard Stern, shedding some light on the shocking news. The Loose Lips star goes on to say that he and Cox haven’t had sex since June after she suggested the trial separation but maintains that he never cheated on her while they were together, admitting though that since the split, he slept with Jasmine Waltz, calling the actress his one conquest. As for Courtney, those who worked closely with the Cougar Town star say they weren’t exactly surprised by the news. According to sources on set, Cox and costar Brian Van Holt’s relationship raised more than a few eyebrows with one eyewitness claiming he saw the two shacking up as early as April. Despite the rumors, friends close to the couple insist there is a real possibility the two will get back together, a sentiment which David emphatically echoes. The two who are currently working together on a fourth Scream film, the very same franchise that sparked their love back in 1996 have one daughter together and in a joint statement released, add that they still love each other deeply and remain best friends.
