Host: Los Angeles the entertainment capital of the world where you can stroll them all the stars day or night. This year new stars are walking the red carpet as WBENC go to Hollywood. The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council is the nation’s largest 3rd party certifier of women on businesses in the United States. These years events women and business 2007 Launching a New Decade is the biggest event of this kind for Women’s Business Enterprises. Linda Denny: We chose Los Angeles because we wanted the conference to be in a fight of growth and the West Coast is first thing will be qualified Women Business Enterprises. Kathy Homeyer: You know WBENC conference every year just gets strong and strong I mean that if you look around at this conference, it is just amazing. Host: During the four day event women’s business enterprises, senior corporate executives, the planner diversity and procurement professionals and government representatives sees opportunities from participating in WBENC’s super charge business, networking events. Joan Kerr: At AT&T we’ve had a formal program working with WBE for over 27 years but each year we learned so much of his conference and meet somebody wonderful WBE’s that we wouldn’t miss it for anything. Host: From informative workshops to inspirational speakers and over 350 exhibitors ready to do business this conference offers attendees essential information, tools and excellent revenue building contacts. Ella Kosik: WEBENC has been fabulous to both for the company and me personally. I have the opportunity work with some fabulous people it’s just the perfect opportunity. Host: Coming to WEBENC annual conference it is just a item to cross off the supplier diversities to do this corporations know that it makes perfect business sense. Le An Champion: AT&T has got along history of being committed to women own the businesses and it’s really clear that it’s a critical part of our success. Lynn Scott: Opportunities come up everyday in our company, the business climate is changing, it’s going global and the opportunity is about solution continue to grow. So we need to find those candidates that fit into those molds and where is there a better place on WBENC conference. Linda Denny: Our corporate members love coming to the women in business conference because this is the bonanza, let’s face it, this is where they get to meet so many new businesses that they may not be aware of already. Ying Mcguire: WBENC is excellent organization that we pronto with, we leverage the WBENC expertise and network to identify highly qualified potential suppliers that can be part of those supply chain. Armando Ojeda: We have what we call white space, which means that we have areas whether our no women represented and so we’ve come to this conference very specifically to identify women suppliers to get that fit that profile and that we can bring it to the organization as suppliers. Debra Johnson: We’re always excited to participate because we meet so many great women’s business companies here. I’ve never disappoint it when I attend. Host: And the corporations aren’t the only one looking for qualified women our own vendors. Pamela O’Rourke: I have gotten so much from WBE, being a WBE and with WBENC because I get to meet all the corporate sponsors, I get to meet WBE’s and my company has grown but you want the most important thing is relationships. Sandy Davis: This is a place where you form friendships, you are constantly learning your bonding and you really know that you’re on the right track. Holli Door: There is only calendar for next year, this is a great opportunity to meet people, it’s the highlight of the year. I just enjoy every minute of it. Host: The WBENC conference is obviously a place to find, start and solidify business relationships. But let’s not forget about the business that only love Angeles does so well.
