In the wake of the Newtown elementary school tragedy the gun control debate has heated to a boiling point. Part of that discussion is whether having and armed teaching force would help prevent further tragedies. Texas Governor Rick Perry has umped into the fray with a statement supporting allows districts to determine if their teachers can carry guns.
