Sandra Bullock Divorces Adopts and Joins Strong Single Moms Sandra divorcing and adopting with Hollywood support. Sandra Bullock is moving on from her marriage with a new man by her side. The Oscar winner exclusively tells “People Magazine” she has filed for divorce from Jessie James and is finalizing the adoption of a three and a half month old boy from Louisiana as a single parent. Sandra and Jessie reportedly began the adoption process together four years ago and have had baby Louis since January. Jessie told the magazine at Friday that losing Sandra and Louis has left a huge whole in his heart. For her part, Sandra can take comfort knowing she‘s joining a group of strong single Hollywood moms who’d adopted on their own. Angelina Jolie welcomed Maddox in 2002. Calista Flockhart adopted Liam the year before that. Mary Louis Parker and Sheryl Crow each went through the process in ’07 and Meg Ryan brought home baby Daisy in 2006.
