She hasn't had her first baby yet but already bets are being placed on when the Duchess of Cambridge will have her second. The prince or princess's university, career choice and even first girlfriend or boyfriend are attracting punters. Paddy Power's Rory Scott. (SOUNDBITE) (English) PADDY POWER SPOKESMAN RORY SCOTT, SAYING: "We are taking bets from the baby's name, the arrival date, the weight, the hair colour, the magazine with the first pictures, even who is going to be holding the baby outside the church." Royal baby bets are expected to outstrip those placed on the couple's wedding in 2011 by at least a third. The big money is on the baby's name. For a girl - Diana is a favourite, after Prince William's mother, as is Charlotte, Kate's sister's middle name. James tops the boys list, followed by George - which has been a British King's name six times already. (SOUNDBITE) (English) PADDY POWER SPOKESMAN RORY SCOTT, SAYING: "I think we are seeing a bit of a tug of war, you've got William and Kate a modern couple who like to do things their way and on the other side of the coin you've got the family to appease, a thousand years of tradition to respect and of course they don't want to be upsetting the boss, the Queen." Another popular bet is whether the royal heir will inherit uncle Harry's ginger hair. Odds on that are 9/4. Novelty bets on royalty first became popular when Prince Charles married Diana in 1981. Paddy Power have already taken 10,000 bets - it expects royal betting to top £300,000 or $450,000 in the coming weeks.
