[Music Playing] Adam Richman: I'm inside the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum here in Cleveland Ohio it has one of the absolute best collections of Rock and Roll member of Bulla, costumes, music and films you are likely to find anywhere. This is Man versus Food with a Rock inside a City. [Music Playing] Adam Richman: Alright, so this is Howard Kramer, you are the Curatorial director. Howard Kramer: That's right. Adam Richman: Here at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Museum, why was it decided to put this Rock and Roll Hall of Fame here in Cleveland? Howard Kramer: Because there is no favorite Nations here, I mean Cleveland does have a musical history here, but it's not as dominant as let's say the one in New Orleans or Philadelphia. So we don't have to really serve a particular part of the story. Adam Richman: Right. Howard Kramer: And tell the whole story without doing like we are leaving something behind or over accepting so. Adam Richman: Tell me, is there like an actual mission, because it goes so much deeper than like, let's put as much Rock stuff in one place. Howard Kramer: And the mission here is to educate people by the history of music, where it came from, why it blew up when it did, and all of the music that actually come and contribute to it. [Music Playing] Adam Richman: Was there actually a theme behind the design of this building using a pyramid in that round tower -- Howard Kramer: If you look it at a Plaza from an aerial view it actually is a turn table. The outer planet box in the center of it, is it's a record and a turn table, but this building does have a remarkable energy to it, I mean whether it's visual or -- it is all right here and its really just remarkable and also family friendly, right, I mean. Adam Richman: Oh! Yeah. Howard Kramer: And you always say, families of three generation, you know grand mom, mom and grandson walking through here, looking at the same thing, it's pretty remarkable. Adam Richman: Holding once in for all, that if it's too loud you're too old. [Music Playing] Adam Richman: How you been to the Rock Hall before? Female Speaker: I have, I love the Rock Hall. Adam Richman: Do you have younger, older relatives that you bring? Female Speaker: Mainly my age, but my parents, I brought them here when they came up to visit me, and they were pretty-pretty amazed by the place and they don't speak English very well so -- Adam Richman: Really! Female Speaker: As for music, it is a universal language and -- Adam Richman: Was there any particular exhibit that they responded to? Female Speaker: Few legends that they exhibit probably, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, they know those names. So they were really impressed to see the Michael Jackson gloves and Thriller Jacket -- Adam Richman: They have the glove here. Female Speaker: They do. Adam Richman: That's right! Awesome! [Music Playing] Adam Richman: Do you have a favorite exhibit? Female Speaker: I have a favorite piece of memorable that I'm here to see today you choose well represented and I hear there is a Rejection Letter that tells us all, if first you don't succeed, try again. Adam Richman: Who were your Rock and Roll idols going up? Female Speaker: As I was growing up there were so many Beatles. I remember - I'll never forget the first time I heard a Beatles album, I was in love with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, I stored that album cover forever. Adam Richman: That's incredible let's go check out the exhibit. [Music Playing] Adam Richman: This is Man versus Food with a Rock inside a City. [Music Playing]
