Presidential Fashion Two first ladies go a head-to-head in the style wars. For the USA, we have Michelle Obama. For France, we have Carla Bruni. Both, they’re always well-groomed and immaculate, but who is the first lady of fashion? Michelle Obama is fast becoming a fashion icon. She has made a repeat appearance on the Vanity Fair International Best-Dressed List. And whereas designers like Calvin Klein, Oscar de la Renta, Isabel Toledo, and Ni Arishi. She favors chic suites in bright colors and sleeves stresses that show off her toned arms for special occasions. Knitted cardigans and simple accessories also play a big part in her outfits. Former model, Carla Bruni has partied with the best of them. But since becoming the first lady of France, her style is demure, chic, and elegant. More often than not, she chooses Christian Dior. But occasionally, she will step out in Chanelle and Loren Scott. She is effortlessly stylish even after jet setting around the world. But isn’t as adventurous as Obama when it comes to designer gowns or choosing color, often dressing in gray or black. Her choice of flats and heels also let her down. Michelle Obama is easily the first lady of fashion.
