Transcript

Female: Must dogs and cats be vaccinated to stay at a co-shelter site? Lesa: I will say yes, and the reason I say yes they must be, is really they should be, by law, vaccinated. With all the vaccines that are recommended by the veterinarian, but most importantly, by law, they need to be vaccinated against rabies. And this is extremely important and people need to be able to show proof that their pet, their cat or dog is vaccinated. Either wear their rabies tag and or rabies certificate that is current from the veterinarian.
