The song for this lesson is O Come All Ye Faithful. It sounds like this. Amen. Here’s the song slowed down. It starts on a C chord. One of the things I want to point out for all of these songs is try to concentrate on the melody. You want the melody sound louder than the other notes. So you wouldn’t want to play but more. You bring the accompaniment down a little bit. So once more. You want to have the guitar sound like its singing. So the top voice would be [singing] and you would want the other parts to be softer like those notes, there. Now here are 6ths with a pivot on the C. so you want to leave that C down at the 5th string 3rd fret. Want to have it ringing through this entire measure. Slide up. Again with the C ringing through right here. And you’re going to finger this with 2 and 4, like that. Now, 2nd finger on the C and grab the bar. Once more. Leave the C down. And again a pivot on the C, leave it down. Then 2nd finger on the C, the bar. You can end there or add a little 4-1 which should be on an F and C. Very beautiful.
