Nature-Inspired Dining Room Corl Splash with David Bromsted Christina: David is on his way here and I cannot wait for him to get here. Eric: We’re excited and nervous and all balled up tense fun. David: For this couple I’m doing a dining room for it. They just got married a year ago and bought a house that’s a lot of things happening in one year. Christina: Hi. David: Hello. Let’s see, let’s see. Christina: The dining room is fantastic in a bone structure but it all feels a little blah. We’re looking for it to definitely be something that will generate lots of great conversation and stories. David: The table is great. Christina: Thank you. David: It’s enormous. Christina: Well we haven’t actually cut some made for this room. Eric: We weren’t sure about the butcher block type Bobby Brady pattern. David: So what would you like it to be? Christina: We’re actually really open to whatever you want to do to this table to make it kind of fit with this room. Eric: That color inspiration comes from a photo of our Sienna. Christina: We love the idea that the outdoors kind of comes inside. David: Now you know I love the little blue in here as well and that goes with your living room. I think by bringing some of that blue and blue accents with beautiful green in there I think will really make a beautiful impact on the rooms. Christina: Yeah. David: The dominant color in the color inspiration is green and so the obvious thing to put on the wall is kind of a beautiful lime green that’s what I’m thinking. Another option I could do is I found this wallpaper it’s a birch tree. It’s black and white. It’s really graphic. Eric: Christina told me that she’s a lot more excited than the day we got married so I wasn’t sure to take that. David: Take a look. Eric: Holy cow. This is fantastic. Christina: Our new room is beyond words and believably gorgeous. I hard to admit like this. Eric: I love the dining room. There’s not a person that’s not going to walk in that room and say like you know could we see the kitchen or we’ve seen enough that’s plenty. Honey the cut out. Christina: Oh look at that. Thank you, oh my gosh. I love that in every one of your shows. Eric: Look at that a spot for wine. Christina: Beautiful. Eric: Oh it matches up in the outside. The rug that you explained was perfect like we were our one concern was like he’s going to get like astro turf and put another one is he. David: No not that type. We did that here. I was like okay the bench but I don’t want to get rid of it because you know you got some special order to it. To me benches are very casual like kitchens and I know since you didn’t love the table. I didn’t know you have to really love the bench either and so I got you two more of them what you guys love so much of the dining room make up over that you were inspired to buy. Christina: Yes. David: And so then we created 8 seatings right there and then of course you have to had some table. Christina: This painting is beautiful too like it just kind of feels like water. David: You guys wanted some water touches. This is a corner you know specifically for, if you ever have kids. Lime green trim, women when you talk about that which seems to be the most obvious thing to talk about just has that perfect shade of lime green that has enough white in it and it’s not too heavy it doesn’t have any black it just really makes it feel light there and with the ceiling. Christina: Yeah. David: It just really makes it feel like we’re on the outside. Christina: Yeah, their such great energy in here. Eric: You don’t get to be in a space or a room that you actually get to be in everyday that makes you feel so alive and special and we really thank everyone at color splash for that.
