There's nothing like a mother's love. One little panda cub at the Tapei Zoo in Taiwan was feeling it for the first time since its birth more than a month ago. Little Yuan Tsai was born July 6th but was kept in an incubator while zoo keepers gauged mother Yuan Yuan's ability to nurse. The mother seemed to take to her cub's care instantly, licking, cradling and nursing her little one. The young panda cub is the offspring of Yuan Yuan and her mate Tuan Tuan, gifts given to Taiwan from China in 2008. The black and white furry offerings were meant as a gesture of goodwill. Together the parents' names mean "reunification" -- not unlike the bonding between this mother panda and her cub.
