Midwife Story About a Home Birth One home birth experience that I can recall is where the woman had a previous hospital birth and she had wanted to have the experience of having a home birth and she was a good candidate for that, and at her birth it was such a joyous experience because after she could compare, really that’s the closest comparison as if you had one birth in hospital; one birth at home, to see the difference between the two experiences. And she was so grateful and it made me feel really good that I could give her that experience, help her, assist her in that wonderful process and it’s something she had always wanted and she got her wish.
