Butterscotch Tutorial Special. Maximizing your Business with Google Local Business Center. Part One of Ten: Getting started. Molly McDonald: Google Local Business Center gives you more control over the way your business listing comes up in Google Maps. It also allows you to add things like coupons, photos, and video and more to your listing, making it a very important tool for any business owner. It's free to use and easy to setup. Begin by simply signing in with your Google account. If you don't have a Google account then just click here to create one and then log and with your account credentials. Next click on Add new business, enter in the details for your business, the country where it's located, the name, the address and location, and the main phone number, everything with a star next to it is required. Then add your company's email address and website which will also be included in your listing. Then add a description of your business. This is extremely beneficial when someone reaches your listing in a Google Search all of this information will be available to them. If you need to add more phone numbers then simply click here and add them. It's as simple as that, there are just a couple of more steps to add your business to Google Local Business Center which I'll show in Episode 2 of this series.
