Karl Andersson, an International Disaster Liaison for AMURT discusses relief work in Haiti. He shares his belief that every culture has a certain strength when it comes to recovering from traumatic events. Andersson thinks it is important to draw on that local culture and integrate it into the process, essentially giving people a chance to rejuvenate through the sources they are used to.
