Hollyscoop.com caught up with Kerry Washington at the ELLE's 17th Annual Women In Hollywood Tribute. Kerry talks about her new movie, 'For Colored Girls', and how excited she was to work on the film with Janet Jackson. Interview by Violet Kanian.

Kerry Washington - For Colored Girls Violet Kanian: Hey I’m Violet from Hollyscoop here at the Elle Women in Hollywood event where I caught up with the hottest stars walking the carpet. There are new movies coming out for Colored Girls how excited are you about that? Kerry Washington: I’m really excited and it’s a play that kind of change the landscape of American Play Writing and theaters, so it’s really cool to be in the movie and to be in the film with the cast that I’m working with is so dreamy. Violet Kanian: Well what is it like working with Janet Jackson? Kerry Washington: It was great; it was great I mean the entire cast everybody was so kind of excited and thrilled that we were having the opportunity to tell the story together so it was really fun, it was like camp.
