Katy Perry's Pretty in Pink Lips at the Grammy Awards: Get the Look Zelana: Katy Perry had luscious pink lips at the 2010 Grammy Awards. Sam Salk is here to show Bella TV how to get this sweet and sexy pout. Sam Salk: Step one we’re going to line the outer lips with a muted pink lip liner. So I'm going to start on the outside corner of the lip and just work my way up into a nice sweetheart shape lip. Step two is to fill in the lips with the same pencil. The reason we fill in the lips is to keep the lip gloss on a little bit longer and it also gives your lips a poutier look. And for step number three I chose a shinny pink lip lacquer. Not a lipstick and I'm going to apply it with a brush. And you want to use a brush because it will give you a little more control than if you use your fingers. And the reason I'm using a lip lacquer instead of a lipstick is because it’s stickier and shinier and it has a longer staying power and it gives you that perfect baby doll look.
