Julie: There is no question that life can get pretty hectic with two kids, a husband, and a full-time job. For starters my husband Phil and I don't have the same days are off and then when you add in Dineila and Dillon's busy schedule with school and then dance, golf, gymnastics and Karate, we hardly have any time for just the two of us. Phil: Your car or mine Julie? Julie: My car. Hi! So when we do plan a family vacation we want to make sure there is something for everyone including a little alone time for us. This year we decided to give Beaches in Turks and Caicos a try. First we make sure that the kids would have a good time and really how could they not with a Sesame Street breakfast on Dineila's seventh birthday and awesome water park. Six pools, water sports, and a great kids camp. Okay, so we just the drop the kids off the camp fest. Now we actually have a little time for ourselves. We had big plans for the afternoon. We are going to head out on the Beaches of Catamaran, have a really nice lunch and then go to the beach but it didn't quite workout that way. It's okay though. Our nap in the hammock was very relaxing. Later, we took a walk through the resort and then headed back to our room to get ready for the most exciting part of our trip. Well! For me and Phil anyway. Renewing our wedding vows. Male Speaker: After successful and happy married life, this family today to bear witness of the marriage, this honorable, holy and it's happy sacred and beautiful. Julie: I knew it would be a wonderful experience but I had no idea how special it would be to include the kids in the ceremony. Male Speaker: You give each other the French kiss. Julie: I thought it might not be as romantic if they were there but I was so wrong. It was our incredible moment with Dillon and Dineila watching us say I'll still do after eight years of marriage. Then we all had a delicious and very festive dinner together at Komodos (ph). We really wanted to celebrate with the kids that night. So we decided to have a romantic dinner alone another night. The next day we explored the resort with the kids and then hung out at the beach and pool. So the kids are in the pool right now with Phil. And I am going to clean up our chairs and get our beach toys step to get back to the room because we are going to head to a couple's massage. A little more time for ourselves for the romantic part of our family vacation. We are on our way to our couple's massage. Even though Dillon and Dineila are with us but we will have a baby sitter who's going to watch them for hours. So we can spend a little time together. We really needed that. We spent the rest of the afternoon with the kids shopping, and playing some pool. And then headed to a beautiful gazebo overlooking the ocean for our one dinner alone. That's gorgeous. And then we toasted to one more thing, the fact that you really can have an evening alone and a little romance on a family vacation, we will drink to that.
