Jennifer Lopez Talks About The Back Up Plan Audra Lowe: She’s an actress, a singer, a wife and a mother of twins and somehow Jennifer Lopez has found the time for a new romantic comedy and is ready to hit the big screen. Rachel’s got more with the star. Rachel: Now of course, things were tougher, beautifully you got married. You have your beautiful twins but in that happened in the case would you have considered having a back up plan like your character? Jennifer Lopez: I don’t know if I could do it on my own. It really takes a lot of courage like that some one thing with the character when I was playing her and thinking about her life and everything and how okay she was being alone and how she had gotten used to that and that was part of the part that was difficult for her to kind of believe that Alex was going to be there. Alex’s character was going to be there that I could ever do something like that. It just takes a lot of courage especially now having kids and knowing how difficult it is to do it on your own. I couldn’t even imagine. Rachel: Because this was your first movie since becoming a mom. Was that tough balancing all of that at the same time? Jennifer Lopez: Yeah, I mean actually it was one of the happiest days of life when I got back to work after awhile and the babies were with me that day. It was just one of the most complete days of my whole life. Rachel: And you have a lot of new earned respect for women like Jennifer who had moms because you have to see a lot of motherhood knowledge glory in this movie. Male: Yeah, I mean I have always respect for single mothers like I grew up with a single mother and my mom raised my sister and I. it was, I know how tough it is. I'm a parent too and I have some friends too who have done this. Who have going off and done it by themselves and I think it takes great courage and it takes great dedication and commitment. I mean it’s hard enough for two people I can’t imagine how. Rachel: I had to tell you though when people see this movie, they're going to be like she just had kids. I mean darn you look good. Your mid rift is like cheese, you look gorgeous. Jennifer Lopez: Thank you so much. Rachel: You work really hard. You’ve always been really good about fitness and taking care of yourself. But I think out of all the stars out there, a lot of women want to know, what is your secret because your skin, everything is just? Jennifer Lopez: Oh, gosh, I just do all of those cliché things. I get good rest. I don’t take sun. I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I’ve never done drugs. I think those things kind of catch up with you when you get older and so, I workout it, eat well, I drink the water. Rachel: No guilty pleasure? Jennifer Lopez: Some. Rachel: Like a dingdong, a Twinkie. Jennifer Lopez: Yes, absolutely. I don’t believe in deprivation, total deprivation. It’s like when I diet, I do like two chip days. Rachel: And you have chip very much too it’s all the abs, looks very good. She crashed the car on those abs. Male: She crashed the carbs in my abs. But they're gone now. You’ll be happy to know. I started eating again. Rachel: Wow. I got another scoop there. Thank you for joining me. Audra Lowe: Check out Jennifer Lopez in the Back up Plan in theaters today.
