Male: In the world of children’s books there are successful authors and then there’s J.K. Rowling. It’s estimated that today she sold nearly 400 Million copies of the books. To put this into perspective that’s around the same numbers that you need making. Blacken however produced 800 titles over 40 years. J. Rowling achieved those incredible sales figures with just seven novels in 10 years. The books are of course the Harry Potter Series which started in 1997 and came to a conclusion in 2007. When Rowling began the first the book she was a single mom for then Edinburgh and had to get a baby to sleep before she could get any writing down in the local café. They’ve also been surprisingly successful with pedals. By the time the Deathly Hallows was released on 2007 sales records will be in blasted out of the water. It became the fastest selling workable time, sold 11 million copies in the UK and US on its first day of release. The first five film versions meet with equally stunning success grossing more than $4 Billion making Harry Potter highest and sold franchise ultimately. But with success came to the expectations and Rowling’s bottom character choices was objected to an intense group here that something she was happen to see the end of when she completed the series. J. K. Rowling To an extent the questions off I supposed because it’s the last book so I feel quite liberated. I can just resolve the story now and it’s fun. It’s fun in a way that it hasn’t been for because funny I’m doing my resolution and I think some people will love it and some will love it but and that’s how it should be. Male: Once the seventh book was added it was time for Rowling to say goodbye to Harry to ease the process she decided to handwrite and illustrate the fairy tale story as a gift to six people who were closely connected to Harry Potter. The tales of Beedle the Bard was referred to in the final part of the book. A 7th hand written story was auctioned and raised almost two million pounds for a children’s charity in the Czech Republic. J. K. Rowling I probably won’t say goodbye in a meaningful sense for few more years because they’re still making the films of course and I’m still very involved with the films which is wonderful. I will forever I mean I know when you know I will forever be known as the writer of Harry Potter and I’m completely fine with that, Harry has given me more than I could ever dream of and I’m very grateful too. Male: And they would be even grateful, thanks to Harry and his apparels Rowling has earned more than a million dollars. The mother of three donates much of her time with money to reserving folders with various children‘s charities particularly high end to these prime priorities. J. K. Rowling: I’m really happy. I certainly hasn’t—I mean I might become happier and happier and part of that reason is I feel I’m doing a thing that I most want to do I may think that I’ve got better actually I think the last book was my favorite of the series and that was the best way to end.
