It has the ability to stream videos from many different online contempt providers including CNET TV, mtv.com. According to a blog post by the company president Hulu requested that Boxee will remove the support even though the media center software place Hulu’s adds. Boxee hopes that it can negotiate Hulu support again the future but what’s with Hulu these days? First they pulled its content from tv.com and now Boxee are they means so stingy and weird. Initially this offer will only be available in the San Francisco Bay area and only for costumers who have been with the company for at least 22 months. This effectively lowers an unlimited voice data and texting plan from T-Mobile from $100 to just $85 a month. The new pricing plan has been seen as a responds to boost mobile $50 unlimited voice plan. I’m glad to see competition by the mobile providers has finally started to lower the price of service let’s see if Verizon or AT&T follow suits. Speaking of Verizon the company thinks that can have 4G wireless service here in the US by next year. The company will tasted out this year and says that it will hit 25 to 30 markets in 2010. Clear wire also has taken the 4G network the company team double smart in next tell saying the day with establish 4G networks by the end of 2009. But remember back in 2006 Y Maxx network would reach a 100 million by the end of 2008 and that certainly didn’t happen. These are pretty ambitious calls and I don’t want to jinks on that I’m also not run enough to buy 4G gadgets just yet. Google win a lawsuit in Pennsylvania regarding street view. The company was being sued by Aaron and Kristine Borring same that street view significantly disregarded there privacy interest when it captured images of there house beyond sign who said private road. They claimed mental suffering and lost of property value, they ask for $25,000 in damages and for the images to be removed and destroyed. The district court of Western Pennsylvania said no way where in that the booing is filled to state a claim under any count. Also they made there address and property even more public than ever before by filling the suit in the first place we just showed at to you. The new Nintendo DSI is coming to the US on April 5th it’s been available on Asia for months but its finally coming here for a $170. This is the thinner DS with two cameras and expandable card slots and a music player. It will also launch in the US and a new blue color, it’s kind of the powder aqua blue not my favorite but there is always black. While following our coverage out of Barcelona’s mobile world congress I know there is something we haven’t seen before. Kent German got a first look at the new Samsung Omnia HD, take a look. Kent German: Really it’s a huge screen it’s really bright and really colorful and very vibrant and it looks really nice and thus by HD video. Thus have to Samsung’s touch with interface you can see at the icons all them on the side it’s very similar to the touch screen that we’ve seen another phones in the US. Also this is a 3D interface and what you can do is you can slide that and roll like that kinds of what’s like the corner of the room there is a little bit that the touch going on. It is a totally touch screen device so there is no keyboard, no keypad. Natali Del Conte: The president of the United States of America the band not the group of the American leaders are selling there music on iTunes as an iPhone application and this is clever. You can buy the music as MP3 files but you can also buy a 299 application that streams there top 40 hits. The application was built by Malodio which was founded by the grouped singer Dave Dither. Of course you need a Wi-Fi connections to stream this music so really is an any better than Pandora or slacker but I still think its an innovative way to get your music out there so thumbs up to photos. And now it’s time for my regular this story is good birth control report. New studies out of the UK that 35% of children own a mobile phone by time they are eight years old. It also shows that children have own at least one if not more than one mobile phones by the time they’re 15. The personal finance education group did find that children we’re more aware of the cost of mobile phones though they offer to do chores for ring tone so maybe they’re not quite spoiled as the study would have them seen that’s still kids are expensive it makes me feel a okay with being a spinster. Those are your headlines for today and that wraps up your week of getting loaded but before I go I want to wish a happy birthday to Dug, Dell and Adam. I was seeing you on next week or later today and tomorrow on buzz out loud. Thank you for watching I’m Natali Del Conte we seen at TV and you just been loaded. Brian Tong: What’s cracking I’m Brian Tong and welcome to the Applebyte, it’s all the good and the bad inside the world of Apple so let’s get to the news. The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona which is the world’s largest convention for the mobile industry recently wrap up and even though Apple wasn’t there they were on everyone’s mind. CNET’s market reading cover the panel featuring the CEO’s from Microsoft, Nokia and AT&T discussing now Apple’s close ecosystem of hardware and software, fragments the industry and open this could help the big AB more successful. They argued if they were fewer operating systems available on more phones, developers can treat upset run on more devices. Therefore giving you the people more choice over all, now sure that make sense in there perfect mobile world and I’m more than willing to get a phone that does what I want even better the iPhone so make inform the Microsoft, you too Nokia until then. I think I’m going to sticking with this guy. Now in more mobile world congress news it’s all about the apps. Taking the hint from Apple, Nokia, windows mobile and Symbian all announce there own version of mobile a source in the near future. Google’s android and palm already have stores up in running and rims blackberry apps store is coming soon. Now I’m guessing over 20,000 iPhone apps and over 500 million downloads might have tip them off, you think? Now turn by turn GPS on an iPhone was finally shown off at the convention by the company called Sygic you might recall Tomtom and Telnav both said they had stuffs in the works but this the first proof of concept we’ve seen. The problem well, the test is will make it to your phone without violating the iPhone SDK a free slim right now. It’s actually believed that the current SDK prohibits GPS driving apps. You know maybe they say they check that out before going through all that travel and releasing some of the public, hey it’s okay. We are going to transition now from GPS to dashboard, will the Mac OS10 dashboard that isn’t— I know it’s all corny but if you wan to set your dashboard with its to leave on your desktop will show you how. Wilson Tang: The desk board is a convenient tool when you want to access information in a hurry. But it can take a second or two to launch and it is a previous merit. I’m Wilson Tang here is some tips and tricks that you can do with the desk board. When mounting a dashboard especially we have a lot of widgets that can take a minute for all the widgets to load up. will we all want to know that whether outside right now or you might just want to keep track with the flow without having launch the dash board in the first place. Here is a trick to keep a dash board widget active all the time in your desktop. First launch a terminal; it’s in the utilities folders and the application folder. Keep in mind anything you do with the terminal can scope you Mac so be actually careful and backup all your data. In the terminal type in the following in all lower caps, defaults, space, right, space, calm.apple.dashboard, space, dev mode, space and then upper caps, yes. You might have to restart for or log off for this to take affect. But you should be able to drag widgets onto your desktop. You can do this by entering the dashboard with the keyboard command. Cooking and holding the widget you want to keep in your desktop and then pressing the keyboard command again. Now this widget will leave on your desktop but if you just hit the dashboard or the memory consumes you can stop the dashboard from ever launching in the first place, in the terminal type in default, space, right, space, com.apple.dahsboard, space, mcx- disabbled, space- booing, space and then all caps, yes. This was stopping the dashboard from launching with the finder and the dock when you restart the computer. To undo in this action just replace yes with no in the terminal command. I’m Wilson Tang and these are few tips and tricks that you can use on your dashboard. Brian Tong: Alright thanks for that good stuffs Wilson, so I know you guys have heard the constant rumors and I only even bring them up on the show if I think they’re total crap but I can now finally confirm the existence of the $99 iPhone 3G. It’s true, AT&T is once again selling and refurbish to iPhone 3G’s so you can get it for 99 bucks and the 16 gig version for 199. They do more on some scratches on the surface of the phone so beware. Now we showed you this photo last week and we ask for your help and we wanted to read off the few of captions we got so here we go. Fleshman says, Woo, this is almost as hard as working with Steve Jobs. Liz, from the window, to the Woz! To the sweat drip down my— okay alright I’m not going to finish that caps and if you know the song you the magic word. But here’s one that’s my personal favorite from Eli in Illinois, when the Woz in the house men drop it like it’s hot, drop it like a hot. Drop it like it’s hot. Common how can you not love an Applebyte with the Snopdog reference in there. So thanks for all your entries everyone and remember to send your emails to the Applebyte at cnet.com will get as many as we can.
