Intelligent Nutrients - Spring 2011 - New York Fashion Week Horst Rechelbacher: Horst Rechelbacher. You’re watching Chic.TV. Host: I’m with Yves Durif backstage at Rebecca Moses. He’s a world acclaimed hairstylist. Yves Durif: You know, the look today has a big different than a lot of shows because this is another one-way show. It’s a vignette show. You know, it’s very eclectic in a way. We have a link. The link is that we’re doing waves. We’re doing curve and even the hair totally straight. She’s going to be in a vignette with the Eiffel Tower, so you see where it is going. She’s doing like a curly Eiffel tower. Although that we’re doing to do, more on the side and up. When the hair is loose, flatten it up, wide on the side. Host: What products are you using? Yves Durif: So, we’re using an Intelligent Nutrients. It is a new product to have in a salon now. A friend of mine made it, Horst Rechelbacher. Host: You were the founder of Aveda. Horst Rechelbacher: Yes. Host: And now, you have done to Intelligent Nutrients. Horst Rechelbacher: This is my activism. This is to show that cosmetics industry--that yes, there’s a better way to make responsible products. The first beauty products actually certified organically grown from head to toe. Host: I just have to feel your hair because this looks so --. Female: You can feel it. Host: And it’s so soft. Female: Just a little bit of spray. That’s it. Horst Rechelbacher: On a Monterey’s never put anything on the body, which does not have inside nutritional benefit. You know, that is edible and drinkable. Stir it up. Host: You’re giving it to me to drink. Horst Rechelbacher: Yeah. Host: That’s shocking. That actually tastes better than some teas at some restaurants. Horst Rechelbacher: To me, cosmetic of organic sort of our food is long way overdue. Host: I’m going to drink to that. I’m going to drink to the hairspray.
