Hi I’m Dorian Martin and I’m an advocate for Alzheimer’s. Today I’d likes to visit with you about daily habits that can help you care for aging family member. When caring for a level with Alzheimer’s, it’s really important to maintain a daily routine including meal times, bed times and medication times. You can want to keep a schedule of all doctors’ appointments as well as the record of what happen at each one. A healthy diet becomes an increasingly important as a loved one ages. You also want to keep abreast of what’s going on in a loved one’s’ life. Therefore make time for conversations whether in person or over the phone. Last but not the least, you want to maintain a daily habit of taking care of yourself, exercise, make time for your friends and take time to do what you want to do.
