How to Use a Shopping Cart with Wix.com Welcome to our Wix tutorial on E-comers. Today we will be working with the template that has a shot page with an already setup e–comers Widget. If you are going to be working from a blank document you can find there e-comers widget here on the left menu. Now each e-comers widget has three separate parts the first being the product gallery where you can showcase photos and descriptions of your products as well as prices. The second being the cart and the third being the check out button. First, we will customize today will be the product gallery so once selected we can click manage. Now the template we are using has already set photos so we are going to go ahead and delete all those leaving room for our products. So go ahead and click add product here we will search to the Wix gallery of photos to find some examples and once we have gathered all the photos of our product we can go ahead and change the name, description and price. I will go ahead and change two descriptions for example once we have clicked okay we have setup our descriptions. Now in order for us to display the descriptions on our live site we are going to go here to skins and under show info to its title and description once we have clicked okay we are all set with that and we can move on to customizing our cart. Now other than customizing the color and the effects of the cart the most important thing is to get connected to our pay pal service so right now it wakes for supporting e-comers through pay pal. If your viewers wish to pay by credit card they can do so however it must be through the pay pal service. Here is where you can change your pay pal account information and even choose a currency other than the US dollar. Now Wix is supporting the same currencies as pay pal so go ahead and make your choice. It is important to keep in mind that in order to correctly connect your pay pal to your e-comers on Wix you are going to need to have business or a merchant account with pay pal, also, all of your shipping and inventory management will be on the pay pal site. So, the last thing to connect and very important not to forget is the check out button so once we select that we can go ahead and connect it to our pay pal settings just as we did before with cart. Now the last step is to go ahead and preview the work we have done. If you have been upgraded already you will be—you will see this orange tag here that stating e-comers has a premium feature and you must upgrade to an e-comers package to enable our e-comers. So once we go here to the shop page we can see that our description show when we scroll over our photos of our products we can add to the cart that works as well. Some of our users ask, “Why is there a Wix logo on my e-comers card when I am on my live site?” That is just another indication that you still have not upgraded up to an e-comers package.
