Transcript
Okay, so I’m going to take it slow. Seven to nine… nine to 11… one and 11… 11, nine… seven… 11, nine… okay. So I’m going to try and speed up a little bit. [Demonstration] You kind of hear that. [Demonstration] But I won’t claim to have mastered it yet. But you guys can listen to this song and figure out for yourself. So if anyone that knows how to do this has any suggestions, I’ll be extremely happy if you want to post a video even if it’s 30 seconds long and just show me that last part after the— [Demonstration] Whatever it is exactly what they play it is. After that, guys honestly, the tab has a solo one and there’s a couple guitars in this that you can figure that part out. But this is a good tab. The top part of it is the only part I used. You can use the bottom part of this tab if you want. The only thing different is in the chorus is, “Now we're grown up orphans that never knew their names. We don't belong to no one and that's a shame”. That part, all that is, is power chords. So on the fourth fret, you want to hold the top three strings down [Demonstration] down the second fret… open… then I just play on the fourth fret, you’re only going to hold the top three. I play… down, down, up, up, down, up… down to second fret, down, down, up, up, down, up, then I think you play all the strings open for two measure, but same strum pattern, down, down, up, up, down, up, down, down, up, up, down, up. [Demonstration] The only thing different is the very end of the song, it goes pointer finger there on that four string ninth fret, play it… nine, 11-11-11-11-nine, then seven, seven. Now when you hear me say seven, you notice my seven is on the one-two-three-four string, and the tab has a 12 on the five string. And like I said before, the five string, which is your second one from top, one-two-three- four- five from the bottom, twelfth fret, is the same as the note on the seventh fret on your four string. They’re both A notes, so have fun with this guys. And, now you’re probably going to--it’s late so I’m going to try and like sing one verse. This is really short so you guys can have a feel for it, but I haven’t done this yet so bear with me. [Demonstration]
