Don’t laugh. Faux flowers are planted come a long way. Some are hard to tell from the real thing even close up, and they require no water or care. Give a window box a quick pop of color by blending in faux geraniums with your existing plants. Add color to flower beds that are looking sparse or not fully in bloom yet with faux hydrangeas. Artificial topiary is also a great look. No manicuring required. If your artificial plants are starting to look a little dirty, just toast them off.
