Male Speaker: I love playing the drums on rock band. And I have got some special drum kit mods that will really make you rock out. The first bottom I am going to show you is something that upgrade your look. I uploaded this art work to digitalcamoskins.com. Check it out. X play. Its even a base drum. You know its not functioning, but it does actually make the kit look cool. And it covers my scurrying legs. Now that I have got a sweet looking drum kit I am ready to rock out. Does this ever happened to you? Broken pedal, great! That's awesome. I am going to show you mod that will not only fix this pedal but actually make it look sweet. Time to mod. This is pedalmod. I found this online and not only will repair a broken pedal, it will reinforce if it's in the first place and bet you it looks sweet. The first step is to take out the pin. Its right here. That wasn't too difficult. Goodbye pin. We don't need this part. Now we will use this self tapping screws that actually put the metal on the pedal. Center at the top, keep the first screw in place, screw it. Also, I must applying the other, but later. Now that we got the top three screws tightened I am going to insert this right here. This is actually ends up being your hinge. Now that the hinge is in place, you just need to put on the heel and tighten two more screws. Now you have a pedal worthy of a drum god. Now that I got a heavy metal pedal, I am ready to pound away. My neighbors complaining again about the noise. Look, I have got some mods for the drum kit that will not only quiet it down, make it look cool. There are two types of pads to soften the sound, rubber and felt. Rubber gives you a good bounce back but felt feels very creamy. Which one is quieter? Our sound guide Brad Linder will put these pads to the ultimate test. First, we will try the rubber. And now the felt. Yeah it seems like its so close to call. But, both actually provide a quieter drum kit. I think it's just a what you prefer, the rubber or the felt.
