How to Make Books at Home Part 2 This is a tricky part and what you’re going to want to do is first just fold your edges and after you folded it open it back and this is what we’re going to try and do is make some really nice and neatly folded corners. So now, they’re all open again and what you’re going to do, you’re going to take a corner and you’re going to fold it in towards the center and then you’re going to take this edge here. Let’s jut fold it over and this one and they’re going to meet almost instead of 45 degree angle coming towards the center. So you have a nice neat, fold here. Then we’re going to come over here and do this one and actually you can use your folds here as a guideline if the camera can see here how these folds line up with the edge that will help you a lot and then this is going to fold in like that. I think I’m going to go ahead and glue that down just to tab and glue this one in place and then use this one and I’m going to line up that fold that we already created when we did the outer edge. This definitely you may need some older sibling help or mom help or dad help or baby sitter help and this fold in and then we’re going to do the last one. Now you have to go back with your glue stick and kind of sneak it in there to get this glued down, fold them towards the center. It takes a little practice but I think once you get the hang of it, it goes pretty quickly. Now, we’ve got this glued down and we’re going to take our little book. Actually I think we need to fold this and here’s what I want to do is find the halfway point. It’s six and a quarter so we’re going to go for three and an eight and I’m just going to pull a little mark here and the inside of the book because that’s where I’m going to fold it right down the center and all you do is you lay the edge of the ruler right here and then you just push the cardboard up against it. So you’re’ creating a spine of the book and then we’re going to bend the pages here and line it up with the inside grease and make sure it stays pushed in and press and there you have it. So you’ve got six pages to your book. Now, if you want to you could take something like a pipe cleaner maybe or a piece of ribbon and before this gets totally dry you can slide this under here just like that between the glue at the book and let’s glue that in there and then when you close this you’ve got a little way to keep the book closed. So there’s your little book.
