This triangle fold room card is a simple-to-make child's birthday card. All you need is card stock, patterned paper and a stamp or sticker. You could adapt the design easily for an adult card as well.

How to Make a Triangle Fold Room Card Hi there! In this video, I’m going to demonstrate how to make this. It’s called a Triangular Fold Room Card. With this one as you can see, you can fold it and there’s your front and it opens up. There is a little popup there, so just like that. So to make this card, you start with a square. The card I showed you was a six inch square. This one I’m making now is an eight inch square. So, you cut your square and then you score it into four quarters. So, score down that way in the middle, score that way in the middle and then using one of them, you score from the center along the diagonal out to here. When you’ve done that, the next step is to cut and you cut one side but you don’t cut either side touching this diagonal piece. You cut this one over here that does not touch the diagonal. I will do that and then I will show you how to fold it. So now, the card is cut and ready to fold. I have made a mistake here which I’ll show you but it doesn’t really matter, so I have decided to leave it. So, you cut along here. You fold this side in that side in, that side in and this one, the diagonal, you fold the opposite direction and that is where I made my mistake. I folded it wrong but as I said, it doesn’t matter. So, now that it is folded, you can glue those two together and these folds over like that. So, you can decorate the front of your card and the inside of your card. I’ll do that and show you what I come up with. So, here is my card almost finished. I have decorated it very simply. This is a child’s birthday card. Here is a square of scrapbook paper on the front. When you open it up, on this side, “Happy Birthday” stamped and blot with scrapbook paper. On this side, more scrapbook paper and a little element cut out with a scrapbook paper and then I will put a popup. Now, to make the popup, it’s very simple. You simply get a rectangle like that. Glue an element on it like that and attach this side down, so it forms like that. So now, I’ll glue that in and show you. Here is the completed card. So, see it won’t fold over like so for mailing and hopefully, will popup when it’s opened. It’s quite a simple, little card that anyone can make without having to buy a lot of supplies and I think it’s kind of cute. So, thank you.
