How to Make a Toilet Paper Tube Bee Simple kids Crafts Presents: How to Make an Easy (TP) Toilet Paper Roll Bee Hello again and welcome to Simplekidscrafts.com. Today we‘re going to be making a TP Bee and for this we’re going to need a paper tube and some glue as well as construction paper, yellow one. This has been precut so that it will fit the same size as a toilet paper and we made the wings as well. We precut them. You can see that it’s a semi circle and we have the little antennas and the little stinger in a shape of a triangle as well as the little stripes which we cut to be the same as the conference as our toilet paper. And this is the way that I cut it actually. I just went ahead and wrapped around the construction paper and then cut to the same length as how the toilet paper. I did the same thing for the stripes. I actually took half of the construction paper and wrapped it around just like I did with the yellow paper and that’s how I took my measurement. I took only half of it make three stripes because as much as you can get in there and the googly eyes as well as the scissors. So let’s get started. This is the glue that I’m going to use, which is stick glue. And I’m going to go ahead and start gluing my toilet paper tube all over and we’ll go up and down and then we’re going to take the yellow construction paper and stick it around. Again, the way that I measure the construction paper was by taking the construction paper all around the toilet paper tube and then put it into set. We have also the nose which I have here which is a small pompom. And we’re going to go ahead and take the construction paper, wrap it all around — all around and make sure that you glue everything there. If you didn’t glue it at the beginning, if you didn’t take enough glue you can put a little bit more and just make sure that it closes and it overlaps. And there we have it. That is our body for our bee. Now, what were going to do next is to take the stripes and glue those in. Make sure that you’ve glued the ends in. You can always put more glue if you need to — it's needed. And here we go. I like to work with a glue stick because they dry up pretty quickly rather than using the regular glue but they do tend to get a little bit sticky. So here we have our bee and now I’m putting the stripes in the body of the bee. Here we go, one. So we have one stripe down, two more to go. One, there we go, okay. And make sure that when you lock it on the back, you’re actually locking them one on top of the other so that it looks seamless and that everything is located in the same place from the back. So that where the paper meets, it’s the same place for the stripes as it is for your yellow paper there. Now, that is not a problem if you make a mistake here because you’ll have the bumble bee wings which will be covering the back so that it’ll be seamless. Now this is our toilet paper tube, already pre-done for the body and now we’re going to put the eyes in. Now I have googly eyes right here which I will attach one by one and I like you to look at how the bumble bee turns out so you can get a glimpse at it. This is our finished bumble bee with the wings and the nose and the eyes and even the antenna in as well as the little stinger on the bottom. Again, it is nicer to precut all the elements that you’ll be needing before you start the project. Now that we have the two eyes set in and that we have the stripes in, we’re going to be putting in their wings and I’m going to start gluing those in right now and here we have one glued and two glued. And I’m doing this for time sake. I’m actually doing this today with plaster, unusual. So here we go, one wing and two wings. A little bit sticky. Okay, there we go. Now you can see the wings in there attached to the body of the bee and now we’re going to glue the little nose which I’m going to use a little bit of glue right here settle it, there we go. And that’s the nose right there. It’s still stuck to my hands but it will own stick, okay there we go. So now we have the beginning of our bee there and now we are going to put in the stinger and for the stinger, I tend to put glue on one side of the triangle and then glue it right at the back of the bee and there you go you can see that. Now, we are going to put in that little antennas and we’re almost done. You can see that in and here we go. Now to print the instructions, you can always visit www.simplekidscrafts.com, that’s www.simplekidscrafts.com. And here we go, that is the finish bee. I will give you another look at the finished bee right now. So I hope that you enjoy this crafts. Thanks, bye!
