How to Make a Non Alcoholic Mojito A baby shower is one of the most exciting celebrations in a woman’s life and what better way to welcome your newest member of your family than by raising a glass and toasting them on to be with a glass of free alcohol removed wine or a non-alcoholic cocktail otherwise known as the pregotini. Hi, I'm Natalie also known as the liquor muse. As a cocktail book author, blogger and mixologist, I'm always looking for new inspiration. Welcome to inspired sips with a liquid news. Just because you're expecting a baby doesn’t mean you have to give up all the fun whether in your first trimester or third, a healthful non-alcoholic pregotini can help you keep the party going throughout your entire pregnancy. I'm going to show you the Miami mommy mojito which was created in honor of Jennifer Lopez when she was expecting her twins. We start with a juice of half of lime, cut approximately half an ounce. And we’ll squeeze this directly into a tall glass. Next, I'm adding some fresh strawberry. Now fresh strawberries are usually found in the supermarket. But if you happen to be somewhere that doesn’t have them, you could use a frozen strawberry if you had no other alternative. Now a pinch of fresh basil although mint would work perfectly well in this drink. Using basil just gives a very unique twist. Next, a bar spoon full sugar and now we’re going to muddle it, muddling means just pressing down gently on the ingredients already in the glass. We’re extracting the juices not creating a poke at the bottom of the glass. Now we’re going to stir this glass of ice. Next, we add three alcohols removed white into it. I love working this lime of alcohol removed wines because they actually start as wine and have the alcohol removed. So what's left retains the characteristics of the great variety. There delicious on there own, but there are also a great phase for non-alcoholic cocktail. Finally, a little splash of lemon lime soda and we’re going to give this a stir. It’s a beautiful easy to make tasty non-alcoholic drink for your baby shower. And if you want to find more celebrity inspired non-alcoholic cocktail, just take a peek at the celebrated pregotini section of my book, Pregotini’s, mixcology for the mom-to-be, cheers.
