Chris Duke: Welcome to Motorz, I am Chris Duke and today I want to show you how to install a new set of license plate frames on a 2008 Ford Mustang GT. Now the tools required include a sixteen pound sledge hammer, a flat blade screw driver, some duct tape, of course, some safety goggle and our old friend Milwaukee Sawzall. Let's get started. I really don't think I was going to do that, did you? Because all you need is a flat blade screwdriver. Welcome to a special year end edition of Motorz TV where we take a look back at our show in 2008, as well as look forward to what is going to happen in 2009. Now, we had started two fun segments of Motorz early on in order to keep the show lighthearted and entertaining. The First segment which is shown at the top of the show, we affectionately call the Rowe Intro. The second segment that is a series about takes and bloopers, and that appears at the end of the show. Let's start by recapping what the Rowe Intro is. We got the idea from our friend Mike Rowe on his show Dirty Jobs which is on the Discovery Channel. At the top of his show, you see Mike in his setting that had something to do with his Dirty Job that's going to happen in that episode, which is usually something kind of ridiculous, entertaining, but it always grabs your attention, he simply says, I am Mike Rowe, and this is my job. We liked it so much that we added it to our show. Now one thing you will notice is that with each episode, we put more thought and work into this intro, even going so far as to visit a local farm and borrow a Texas longhorn named Wheelie. Let's take a look back at all of our intros from 2008. I am Chris Duke and this is Truckblog TV, I am Chris Duke and this is Truckblog TV, I am Chris Duke and this is Truckblog TV, I am Chris Duke and this is Truckblog TV. Now, if you are patient enough to watch one of our episodes all the way to the end, you will hopefully be pleasantly surprised by some of our outtakes and bloopers, as you can see, we try to keep things upbeat as some installs can take quite some time especially when we are shooting since we shoot in a real garage that often includes real distractions like the ice-cream truck in the street and neighbor mowing his lawn, airplanes or kids playing in the street. Some of the outtakes are real, and some we make up just for fun, you can usually tell which is which. Well, here they are all the outtakes from 2008 and mostly me acting like a complete idiot. Let's take a look at one of the parts. I am not a professional. Speak, I am your father. And really cool work boots. You know Jason; you are really torquing me off today. That was awkward. To install the power step, you are going to need the following tools, of course, you are going to need your safety goggles, some screwdriver thing, even these Chinese wrench deals and these that make noises like, Male Speaker: Are you serious? Chris Duke: You are going to need some - some of the alligator grippy things, some small scissor like deals and I really don't know what the hell this is. It's the new Motorz theme song; everybody is going to be singing that. And now that I have finished connecting up the wire into the Motorz, Motorz, I don't read the script, the script reads me. Want to see a magic trick? Tada. Hey Chris we are coming down from Visalia quite at the end. David Wheeler: At that time the body is going to try and roll, and this Sway bar is going - the front sway bar is going to be upside about an inch and a eight - Chris Duke: Today we have got everything here laid down on our table; tell us what - rear thing here, that thing, more cow bell, next we need to install the U bolt, U bolt? Damn. I don't need your tools. Well thanks David for coming all the way down from Visalia. Still go ahead and put a little bit more grease right here, Motorz, it's quite a workout, upright, we have got these things here in a bag. Tom: Chris, a great looking sign, I like the looks of it. Chris Duke: Yeah, thanks a lot Tom. Motorz Tip of the day, use a rubber mounted with everything, that invention, became the bed extender, one, ah two, the bed extender can be used for survival situations, as a stepstool, as a bed, as a workout station, for watching Motorz on Apple Itunes, as a dog channel, here you go, good boy, for drying your old clothes, as a storage rack, as a towel bin and a universal mounting bracket can be used as a bottle opener, be ready Jason, because I don't believe you are. And wrap up the installation, there is a subwoofer in the enclosure with this ringy thing, a Drum-O tool, a Philips school - school-driver, push mount the vent and you don't have to stand there and just take you like a man. I am Chris Duke, can you give me a hot with a bunch of Alpine boxes. I am Chris Duke, I am Chris Duke, I am Chris Duke, I am Chris Duke, and you are not going to get hit with boxes. For more of our videos go to motorz.tv blah blah blah, I screwed up okay. Now for this installation, you are going to need the following tools, hell, on second thought; I am not going to go over all these, just grab everything in your garage because you are going to need it. Good Weedy, alright smack me with this tail, more cowbell. Check this out, I am Chris Duke, and this is stupid. And please be sure to some - why so serious? Yeah this is going well, I am too big for this trunk, okay, this is working, oh yeah, still glowing in the dark, that is the coolest thing, it's got this little dude, it's got a arrow pointing out of the trunk and the dude's running. It's far easier getting out than in, I can tell you that much. So serious. Bye cool world. And finally, each episode is closed by a Zoot. Now, what is a Zoot? Well the Zoot was started in one of our first episodes; it was so random and bizarre that it just kind of stuck with us and our loyal viewers, thanks more. We are expecting it, so we just kept on doing it. So what does it mean? Well, we really don't know. One day when Jason was here, we were clowning around and some Jack Daniel's maid had something to do with this. And the Zoot was born. He made two clapping sounds followed by a Zoot. That was it, with that lousy explanation said, here are all the Zoots from 2008, including my personal favorite, from my very last episode of the year. Clap clap, Zoot, okay, clap clap, Zoot, clap clap, Zoot, clap clap Zoot, [Chorus clap clap Zoot] Zoot, Zoot. Well that does it for 2008, it was a fun and exciting year for us here at Motorz TV, we got the simple concept of the ground and turned it into something unique in the automotive industry or at least we think so, not only, can motorz be seen on over 22 different video sharing sites like YouTube, and StreetFire, and those guys, but it is also featured on Itunes, and Tebow, and we are working on more places to air Motorz every single week. Now looking ahead, 2009, we are real excited about creating a lot more episodes, showing you how to install after market products on your vehicle. Something new we are starting in 2009 is a segment called Letters, where we answer your questions on the show, whether it be a question about an install or product recommendation or a question about the show, please head on over www.motorz.tv and click on Letters to submit your question or comment today. And if we use your question on the show, we will send you a free Motorz T-shirt, how about that? Well that does it for this episode, 2008 is officially parked in the good old Motorz garage, thank you guys for your support of our show and helping to spread the word. Please visit our website where you can request a free Motorz sticker for your ride, watch previous episodes, or ask questions in our forumsm that does it, Zoot. Yeah, I am bizarre, stay right there, oh, here we go, sponsored by AMP Research. Hey you really didn't think I was going to do that either, did you? Look at the dog barking, people talking, it's great, it's awesome, just peachy. Let's go away from here, the dog just stopped barking now, then the kids stopped screaming, wait, I think there is a plane coming, and the ice-cream man too, this is terrific. Maybe I will throw these at you, so be ready. Male Speaker: Okay. Chris Duke: Hey, it was a fun and exciting year - 2008, 2008, 2008; it was a fun and -- funny year for us, where is that gone, to trash? Oh, God, had a burp right there, well that does it for 2008; it was a fun and exciting year. And this is going on your hood baby, clap clap, Zoot.
