The majority of patients today don’t have symptoms because their breast cancer is detected on an annual screening mammogram. Patients do present, however with the symptoms of a lump in the breast, pain in the breast is relatively uncommon with breast cancer and the other major symptom is the appearance of a blood stained nipple discharge. Other symptoms could include an indentation of the breast, discoloration of the breast, changes in the skin of the breast. All of these are possible symptoms of breast cancer.
