Jeff: Hi! I’m Jeff from Los Angeles and I am a 44 year old man and I have a problem with love handles and I’ve try to exercise, diet and I would really like to know what more can I do to get rid of the love handles, thank you. Carla Wolper: Jeff that’s a problems that lots of people have, love handles. Sometimes we call it a muffin topic is that rolls of fat just above your slacks that sort of deep sock over the top. Is cause by excess fat and so one thing that would really help is weight loss. You might wonder why an exercise doesn’t make it completely grow away. So what you need to know is that the muscle is under the fat and even if you do a great deal of exercise and make that muscle really, really strong it doesn’t hold in the fat that’s on top of it. So if you’re unlucky enough and that’s what you put on fat even if you doing a lot of oblique exercises and sit ups and things to strengthen muscles that’s in the middle you may still need to loss a little bit more weight.
